Leaving the football world in a fix, the all-time legend, Diego Armando Maradona dies last evening, i.e. 25th November 2020 due to cardiac arrest. 2020 has been a monstrous year! The world has witnessed the loss of many illustrious mammoth figures and yesterday’s hard blow is being felt by not only the football fanatics but by all. It’s a universal loss; common grief!

The national coach and former midfielder had been struggling on his health front for the last few months. Earlier this month he had undergone brain surgery for blood clots. Yesterday, the Argentine legend died at home due to a heart attack. The Government of Argentina has declared three days of mourning, paying homage to Argentina’s pride.
Short, Sturdy & Mighty, Maradona’s dribbling skills was, is and will remain unmatched forever and his extraordinaire World Cup record is a legacy that every generation will reminisce.
